Description：The Jockey Club Pathway to Healthy Ageing Symposium was successfully held on February 22, with Mr. Ho Kai-ming, JP, HKSAR Under Secretary for Labour and, and Dr. Li kwok-tung, Donald, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Elderly Commission, as the officiating guests who delivered speeches. During the symposium, Professor Yu Sau-fung, Doris, the School of Nursing’s Chair in Research and the project’s Principal Investigator, along with her research team, presented the research results on the comprehensive functional assessment of the elderly in Hong Kong. They were joined by representatives from the project’s partners, including Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Pok Oi Hospital, and Neighbourhood Advice-Action Council, to discuss the health impacts of the JC Path-HA Project on the well-being of the elderly. We are thrilled to have dedicated individuals from healthcare, social care, and DHC come together to champion healthy aging in our symposium! Our fruitful discussions highlighted the power of collaboration in promoting primary health care and aged care.
